Living in the City

I wanted to write about living in the city and mostly writing about living in a apartment in Brookline, Massachusetts.  Brookline is a suburb 10 minutes from Boston.  Rents are super high and we make due with what we have.  I noticed during the summer it gets hotter and hotter every year.  I try to do little things to help the environment and cool our house.  One thing I did recently was to cover all the windows with our couch cushions to absorb the heat when the sun is at it's peak.  I did this last night so the kids did not burn up.  Without the Air Conditioner it is 82 degrees in here.
